HP Shift's planned xDrive features cover software configuration for compatible transfer-case controllers. A paid VIN activation will enable the xDrive delete or control options qualified for that exact vehicle, alongside any other supported HP Shift tuning features.
Available modes depend on your vehicle
The transfer-case controller, installed software and connection determine which configuration options can be offered. Firmware installation and changing an installed mode are separate operations that each need qualification.
Configuration is checked before use
HP Shift will identify the fitted controller before showing supported options. A software mode indication alone does not prove a particular mechanical torque split or guarantee two-wheel-drive operation.
Diagnostic tools remain free
Fault-code reading, clearing, adaptation services and live data remain free wherever supported. Purchasing an activation does not make an unsupported transfer-case controller compatible.
Compatibility and availability
Support is checked for the exact controller hardware and software, your device, the adapter and the connection. A documented controller or successful connection does not mean that this operation is available.
HP Shift's physical vehicle functions are still in development. Released vehicle and adapter combinations will be published after qualification.
