Fault-code reading will be a free HP Shift feature. On a qualified connection, you will be able to inspect the faults reported by the supported gearbox or transfer-case controller before deciding what to do next.
See what the controller reports
HP Shift will show diagnostic trouble codes and the status information supported by the identified controller. Fault-code information helps with diagnosis; it is not, on its own, a confirmed mechanical diagnosis.
Keep an unknown result visible
An unavailable or unanswered read must not be presented as an empty fault memory. HP Shift will distinguish a successful read with no reported faults from a controller that could not be read.
Compatibility and availability
Support is checked for the exact controller hardware and software, your device, the adapter and the connection. A documented controller or successful connection does not mean that this operation is available.
HP Shift's physical vehicle functions are still in development. Released vehicle and adapter combinations will be published after qualification.
