Clearing fault codes will be free in HP Shift and will not require a tuning coupon or paid VIN activation. The function will be offered only for a qualified controller, with its supported clearing scope made clear before confirmation.
Read and diagnose before clearing
Inspect the faults and keep the information needed for diagnosis before deleting them. Clearing fault memory does not repair the cause of a fault; an unresolved problem may cause the code to return.
Know what will be cleared
Clearing one controller and clearing fault memory across the vehicle are different scopes. HP Shift will require the relevant vehicle conditions and explicit confirmation for the supported operation.
Compatibility and availability
Support is checked for the exact controller hardware and software, your device, the adapter and the connection. A documented controller or successful connection does not mean that this operation is available.
HP Shift's physical vehicle functions are still in development. Released vehicle and adapter combinations will be published after qualification.
